The Creatives Runway Showcase — Dedicated to all things idiosyncratic and young talent.

There was no time to sleep as London prepared for fashion week, with there being numerous shows to attend. It was the time of year when all the fashionable individuals, inspired by the movie Devil Wears Prada, aspired to work as Miranda Pricely's assistant.

Amongst all the hustle, in the quaint lane of St. Thomas street, Amazing Grace hosted The Creatives Runway showcase. Having young designers presenting their collections during Fashion Week to celebrate their talent. The show was sponsored by Essence No 1, Black Oud, Trimingham, The Duppy Share and Gold Collagen.

On September 18, 2022, at 2:30 pm, the show began with all the glitz and glamour as the front row filled with influential individuals and fashion photographers snapping away

The headline designer of the show was displayed by Trimingham, collection titled "Fashion is art first," represents cutting-edge, Luxury sportswear. In her own words, designer Cherise explains, "Before you have the completed garment, you go through the process of creation in the mind, and then script it into an actual piece, beginning my fashion studies at Central Saint Martins is where I was taught to fall in love with the process and continuing onto LCF to study sportswear is where I learnt to turn my ideas into functional garments."

The Trimingham signature logo on the burnt orange gilet from the SS/23 collection is embroidered freehand by machine in the same colour as the fabric, giving the garment an optical illusion of depth. The designer has utilised darker shades of blue’s and purple’s to provide contrast to the lighter colours in the palette (creams, greys, and lilacs). In order to maintain a high level of quality and uniqueness with collections, the company exclusively offers made-to-order garments and produces a limited number of each style. Along with producing exclusive collections Trimingham has also been known to create many Bespoke outfits for celebrities.

The show ended on a high note celebrating young designers and their privy ideated designs. Both the designers and guests left on high spirits.
